Propane Wall Heaters

A propane wall heater is typically the same as all gas heaters. These heaters are ideal for use in the home, and usually feature ceramic heating tiles. Most have standard safety features – such as turning off when detecting levels of oxygen are low, and most feature Piezo spark ignition. Certain models may also feature a thermostat to reduce running costs.

Propane wall heaters are available either vented or vent free. Vented heaters require air from outside to reduce the risk of oxygen depilation and carbon monoxide poisoning. Vent free need a good source of ventilation in the room itself – such as an open window, and better safety features, such as detecting low levels of oxygen.

It is important that no matter which heater you decide to use – that you have smoke detects that also feature built in carbon monoxide detectors.
