Propane Space Heaters

Space heaters are designed for large warehouses, rooms, factories. They require big propane tanks, 100lb tanks or 300lb tanks are necessary – as the output of these heaters is 10,000 BTU or more. They are designed to heat areas larger then 600-1000 square feet.

Smaller space heaters are available for home use, and these require smaller canisters and have a lower output. The cost to refill a larger tank works out much cheaper, so although the outlay of a smaller heater may be less – the running costs could work out higher.

The design of space heaters varies greatly, from the typical “home” design, to the Commercial and industrial 400,000 BTU vented Unit Heaters.
